Art Stage Singapore 2016
For the biggest fine art fair in Southeast Asia, Mook was invited to submit her idea for the show’s entranceway installation, which was accepted and became her masterpiece mixed media sculpture Nestscape.
Nestscape was a continuation of WOMB, inspired by the birth of her triplet boys from a warm, dark space, entering into a world of riotous colours and sounds, with the feeling of birds leaving their nest.
Placed at the entryway of Art Stage Singapore in Marina Bay Sands, every visitor to the fair passed beneath the colourful wings as the entered and exited the main hall, and was applauded as a highlight of the event.
